Interior design
A fascinating journey into interior design
atisfying a sophisticated and demanding clientele in such different geographies is no easy task. It means dealing with different cultures, often antithetical needs and desires, even very different climates.
The challenge is always the search for beauty.
Behind every project and every satisfied customer there is a path of knowledge, and it is only intuition that allows us to grasp unexpressed desires, intangible atmospheres, unusual solutions.

Personalising the space
Few things are as personal as interior design, especially when it comes to an important residence or to a shared workspace. Spaces should not simply communicate elegance, they should speak about you as well: express your personality, your style, yet granting the atmosphere that gives you and your guests and employees a sense of well-being.
I will be at your side during the entire design process, putting my long-time experience and the professionalism of my studio at your service. We will select the most suitable standard furnishings to go together with the custom-made elements especially designed for you. We will specify all materials, colors and textures, without neglecting the latest trends. Finally, I will handle the concrete fulfillment of the project, following every detail up to the final display.
Elegant dwellings
My home is the unmistakable expression of my taste and personality. The more intimate spaces alternate with places open to conviviality. I like to personally care the garden, the flowers, the arrangement of furniture and objects, creating the proper ambience in every space.
What I offer my clients, all things considered, is in fact not that different from what I would choose for myself: rooms that stand out for their style, elegance, balance, yet showing strong personality.
The home thus becomes a space that represents us and also a space to be shared.
A home is always a versatile space. It can offer a nest of intimacy to spend time with one’s family, but should also be a place to welcome guests with elegance and authenticity. I always want to achieve an atmosphere that express sophistication and cordial formality, even in its modernity.

Home as a corner of happiness
A lovely cottage in a Tuscan village and a medieval dungeon are made of the same stones, both have very small windows and massive doors. The difference is all in the architecture and interior design.
Designing means devoting one’s attention to ensuring well-being and aesthetic pleasure. Discreet elegance, overall harmony and lasting charm are the hallmarks of any design that expresses authenticity and refinement.
Happiness lies in the little things. The success of a project is in the details, and that is why the task of a designer is to take care of every single aspect of a project: from the architecture of the space to the lighting, from the custom-made furniture to the choice of fabrics for the curtains, from the implementation of the project to the final display.
We spend a significant part of our lives at home. Therefore, I think of home as a corner of happiness: loving the home we live in allows us to be happy every day. The role of the designer is to create such a happiness corner.
Large Residential Projects
Large residential interiors require a skilled approach: they must be handled like they were a hotel or a large showroom.
Apart from the obvious implications in terms of elegance, taste and aesthetics in general, such projects require first and foremost a clear distinction of the purpose of the spaces and careful planning of technical and decorative lighting systems, just when developing and designing the architecture. In fact, despite ceilings height and ample surfaces, no unplanned shadow zone is allowed.
These residences also require a deep understanding of the intended purpose of each space, with a special focus on reception areas, due to the special needs of such spaces in terms of capacity, people flows, cleaning and maintenance.
I want my clients to be able to fully enjoy their home, as much in the intimacy of a dinner with family members as during an unforgettable party organized for hundreds of guests. Guests will be seduced by the elegance of the reception and the ballroom, yet – once the party is over – the staff in charge of tidying up the rooms will be able to clean them quickly and easily.
Finishes and furnishings quality will keep its original appearance even after years of use.
Designing commercial spaces
I always pay much attention when designing the entrance, as it stands for the first contact between the customer and the outlet. It immediately and dramatically influences how clients perceive the brand.
A commercial project must always show great points of strength and distinction, especially when it comes to trade fair exhibitions, where catching the visitors attention is of paramount importance. Brand identity and product specificity are always the main characters, so these are the elements that drive the project and that the display must enhance.
I am always devoted to create an interior and an atmosphere to support what I want to emphasize. From the proper display for precious objects to the interiors of a financial company, I make sure that the context I create elegantly expresses the specific purpose of the activity taking place there, regardless of the budget and vocation of the business.

Customised commercial spaces
Coming to commercial spaces, one ranges from the small boutique selecting excellent perfumes to the large headquarters of a multinational corporation or the skyscraper housing an international bank, where the large size could lead one to think that customizing every detail may not be possible.
My projects show that customization is (and it always should!) really possible. In fact, the professional good-eye always find inputs form the background. In a small commercial space the passionate owner becomes a fundamental guide to drive the project, in large commercial spaces where there are different people and visions, the background still offers interesting hints and guides the customization process.
‘Golden Waves’, is a huge office project in Qatar completed in 2010: the desert became the main character in all the distinctive details. Such theme (the unmistakable sand dunes profile) was declined in the carpets, in the prints on the glass walls, in the handles and above all in the colours used for the various rooms.
The desert evocative atmosphere was strongly evoked through the creation of a customised room fragrance and some distinguishing elements such as the floors, which were calling the colour nuances of the golden sand surrounding the building.
